warcraft && fred perry

Well today was my day off from grueling work (actually work is very easy, I work for the dean of a college that doesn’t require much of my assistance so I frolic my hours away usually on style.com or WWD) and I somehow managed to get into more work, which isn’t bothersome for me since I’m the type that needs to be doing something constantly. Boredom gets to me. It kills every living cell of my body. Thus, I must work, work, work. My mother brought me to my father’s shop today. His shop assembles airplane parts. He doesn’t do any of the dirty work though. My mom does it and somehow still manages her other job as a real estate agent. Tough cookie I’d say. Anyways, after counting several nuts and screws and cleaning the metal insides of automotives, I play.
I play my guilty pleasure that is, warcraft (frozen throne of course!). Like a nerd, I brought my laptop to my mother’s workplace. Earlier in the morning, as I searched for a bag big enough to hold my laptop, I remembered I had my Fred Perry duel zip-up messenger bag. I completely forgot about it, despite the $100 clams I had to fork over to Villains (the store I bought it from on haight street) to get it. The material is durable, stain-resistant (perfect since I’m a hag when it comes to storing my art supplies properly) and yet still so plush. And in a neutral brown & black, I can’t help but use it as an accessory as well.
Take a look at my book/laptop bag:

*fold-easy canvas plates inside helps keep things organized
I hate this word but it is chic.

The school that I work at has been fumbling around with my paperwork like blind bats after a supersonic weed brownie (i.e. ever so fucking slow) so I haven’t received my check or checkssssss. I’m broke. I need to pay school stuffs to get in school annnnnd I have bills to pay! I’m no high school chump that gets her parents to pay for everything. I guess I’ll have to call sprint and tell them the bad news, hopefully they’ll extend my service.

[Fall/Winter 09 collection]

Anyone hear last week about Uniqlo + Disney joining forces to create fanciful garments to please the eyes and wallets? Jil Saunders and Mickey Mouse make a perfect couple that’s all I gotta say.

I’ve been contemplating that I don’t write enough about fashion. It’s just so hard when all I want to do is inform, even if it means not keeping my opinion in tact. You know what I mean? Maybe I should switch majors. Ahhhh journalism, everybody reads! It’s the perfect market!hahaha I die.
