coney breast plates recieve new attention and... stitching

We've all seen the new knit bodices at the trendy forever 21- black corset inspired getups in softer knits (with the occasional over-done floral underskirt being shoved in there).
Obviously as we all know, F21 doesn't have a mind of its own, known for ripping-off jean paul galutier's designs a few years back, F21 is back in action! using their shady merchandisers to create "inspired looks" from the runway, dribbling water-downed vices into the store fronts.
gross.
anyways I'm quite fond of the originals. Louise Goldin in this scenario.
She's bringing structure to our modern day babydoll dress. Coney breasts, metallic threads, pleating at the rib cage and flourishing layers of tulle in every direction. Possibley bringing the balloon circus shorts back. These are some of my favorites.

loving the vest-like top here.

I say, grecian goddess meets 2001: space odyssey.

p.sssssssssss.
I haven't been blogging for a while because I have been preoccupied with certain...life situations that have proven to be more than difficult. I have decided to rent a house with my boyfriend, go to college here for...*drumroll please*... fashion journalism!!! yes I changed my major for now, my passion still is design but right now, I cannot afford this passion. My boyfriend plans to study on becoming an EMT (sexy rightttt????) and plans to help me pay for the school of my choice once I'm done with this college (of course I plan on transferring to LIM in New York or AI in San Francisco after community college) so yeah. woo!
