3.1 Phillip Lim RESORT 2011
there's something about big pants that lures me in without this whole 'gotta have it before this trend runs dry' feeling come up; which is great because this should be a classic-it can be worn from summer through fall (just warm it up in different tones)
bomber jackets aren't dead yet, in fact they come in bigger lapels now and more olive colored leather-combined with ribbed cotton-this trend is easy to wear as is the comfort level.
phoebe philo started it, and now the full-bodied leather trend is hot more than ever, loving this romper more than life right now.
the jacket scream 1980's hip-hop culture, but the jumpsuit says care-free cotton blend
jacquard made an appearance down the runway more than once-through shorts, pants & this lovely dress in mint green.
my fave :)
is it safe to say Lim re-invented animal print-so edgy, yet still feminine.
i've seen this back cropped look before, i think NASTYGAL had a few tops like this, inspired of course :)
just beautiful.
i can totally see myself wearing this beauty.
Chloe Sevigny for O.C. RESORT 2011
This collection so right up my alley, it's chic and comes in a comfy, simple 5 silhouettes. The 1980's hip hop cultured boyfriend jacket makes a feature again, fogal tights & clunky wooden heels steal the spotlight but what really makes the statement are the flared skirt rompers & peter pan collars-TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!
Alexander Wang Plait Braids
I'm planning on buying two-toned blond extensions to make this work. I want a side braid so bad, seriously...I DIE!
And as if that wasn't enough proof...
MIU MIU is in on it too...<3
p.s. i recently bought vintage manolo blahnik boots, will post up pics next post & tell my wonderful story on how i managed to scavenge them out of the dusty pile i which they were rummaged & found. I STRUCK FASHION GOLD HERE PEOPLE! vintage annnnnnnd label!!!!!
