Okay, so today a friend of mine & I went to little tokyo in search of some cute outfits to match off my new hair I'm getting tomorrow. So happens, we stroll into No.A and get asked by the store owner to get our pictures taken (we did look really cute by the way...) and to interview us for the store's blog. She asked questions like tell me what you're wearing and what is your fave summer trends....I totally spaced out and made oscar answer everything...so to compensate for a shut trap....here are FALL 2010 upcoming trends!!! seriously...i could of said like how i'm obsessed with leather shorts right now or annie hall inspired bowler hats but no...i cop out and say miu miu doggy & cat prints....how lame was i?!

there's a million of trends going on right now, and your eyes will more frequent these lovely trends as soon as Fall rolls around....Fall--my favorite........it's not nessecarily about layering up the knits anymore...it's about a specific look garnished through either a print or a  reaching new heights...cute such as leopard print fur vest or a mid-high calf bootie with a deliciously Chanel inspired heel. Being short I can't embrace the whole thigh-high boot thing that presented itself on the runway at Louis Vuitton Fall 09.... or just about any runway in 09. That trend is finally here, butttttt I have some relief for those short sistas around me.

tapered trousers with a slight loose-fit are really in and i reaaaaaaaally need a pair, have wanted a pair for yearsssss!

I've noticed recently a lot of stores starting to carry tops converted into dresses that are slightly askew & with draping diagonal pockets or flaps of different fabric-very art meets street.

Rag & Bone Tweed Cape
A friend of mine recently told me she was in lust over finding a cape. The colors of the static gray & forest green  of the tweed seem to mesh well together. The soft inside lining of the hood is an added plus.

tractor-sole + heel is still very in, heels just got an inch higher...

the academic look has been re-vamped this season, collars are still in session but the a-line skirt gets shorter & fluffier-textures played with and colors warped into something acidic...not your typical floral sunday dress....

Derek Lam Fringe Dress
fringe is everywhere...i might indulge in the trend a bit with a cropped white basic with a long tie dyed fringe hanging from the breast pocket that i saw at No.A :)

perfect with some bright knee highs :)
