Pants...just got interesting...

So...I kind of felt this coming since Fall '09 when DKNY launched a bazillion ads of tall brash women in delicate silk harem pants in bright fun leopard prints--sometimes etched in sequins! All I can say is that given the current state of the economy, a lot of people head for the basics, because it's safe & easy (especially when the fashion market hits a depression-era like slump and sells nothing but boring basics)...but that's not what women want. What women want is the fantastic! something different, something to make their look...their own! Prints have been rampant lately (look at Miu Miu flower printed wooden platforms or perhaps Jeremy Scott mickey mouse inspired frock....the list goes on) and it only makes sense that it would follow in suit with our bottoms. This look make seem fresh and new but it's only the basics in your wardrobe talkin'.
