space age design, evolution is revolution

So I passed by No.A again today and bought this amazing one sleeved black asymmetrical knit dress. literally blows my mind. It has one side tunic sleeve and one side long sleeve-i can't find it online but here's a BLACKCRANE dress of similar drape and length.... It's perfection.

I am however...so ready for fall... I already have a fave designer for FALL RTW 2010!

GARETH PUGH
and who could blame me, his alien-esque stylings & technological advances in textiles can make anyone do a double-take. It seems that in the recent collection, those playful shapes just float softer yet more confidently along the runway. The shades of gray & black in the neoprene leather backings create a sense of feminine strength-- but the men in straps and messy threads gave off a vibe of vulnerability. What I adored was the frayed edges and A-line cut on the square, creates a simple edginess to it all. You can definitely feel the art-deco influence.
FALL RTW 2010-

love.
