Unique Spring RTW 2011 has me in awe. Perspex platforms, fluffy hair in pastels, floaty scarf tops complete with whimsical capelets that lightly whisper a sense of precocious insight to a garden, a very lush garden. Tons of tassels, tie up lucite heels, long tunic dresses cut-out and spit out into crazy insane prints. The thinly threaded harnesses gave off a innocent creature vibe,as if holding the wearer back, perhaps from fluttering away.... the collection in one word would be : Fantasy.
p.s. the triple layer organza pants-i die for.
p.s.s. it gets a bit outer-spacey towards the end-loooove it!
I love the transition from the fiery reds in the floral motifs, to laser ripped pants & black swackets, to heavenly wisps of fabric for capes and water color splashed translucent gowns. Then ended with several ethereal pieces that were very 1979.... that seemed to make you want to transcend time and space.hah.
