As previous dramas end, a blossoming new story/ideal begins. Just as in my life, things change for the better, bitter old rivalries stay the same. This can be applied to fashion. Hot, young designers such as Jeremy Scott and Kirsha Whitcher of New Zealand newcomer-Salasai can be audacious and fluent all at the same time. Summer always brings crazy prints and knee-baring dresses into play. But I always felt summer lacked emotion and seemed a bit drab for a season of endless beach-outings, bikini tans & gwen stefani's holla back girl on repeat in your head. Too much sex, not enough design aesthetic. But then again who needs layers of geometric dexterity when you can wear a see-through caftan & booty shorts and not feel weird about it.
