Floral Gold Brocade Bow Dress was up to par, why wasn't everything else?...
So I went to Target today, and my was I quite disappointed with what I found...disheveled layers of ruffles,maxed out metal eyelets,ribbons stitched on where ribbons shouldn't be stitched, rustic metal themed bathing suits, prom-ish acetate cocktail dresses & apocalyptic nurse-styled frocks.
Although it did catch Posen's overall theme for bright reds, smooth bronze & subtle proper lady-like pieces from Posen's 2010 Pre-Fall. And even borrowed a bit of the ruffles from 2009 Pre-Fall. Which I do adore, but the inspiration seems diluted and creative design stifled! Seriously, materials you could probably find on Forever 21 goods (that term being used loosely, they're hardly good,hah)
But...I did like the brocade dress, it reminds me of the Anna Sui brocade shift I bought from Target last year...(I think Target's GO International Team always does a brocade dress in every collab....lol)
