While all you guys are trying to figure out the amusing yet seemingly mysterious concept behind the Hermes finger skate video, i'll be over here listening to Electrelane's 'i only always think' & marveling over my fab finds. Despite certain (i'm no name-sayer) individuals' philosophies on vintage clothing ie. "vintage is just another word for old clothes that probably used to be on some dead body in a ditch somewhere", I found myself ooo-ing and ahhh-ing at the Arc Value Village in..(dare i say the location...naah). Sure, I had to rummage through racks and racks of J.Crew & Gap sweaters; but in the litter of seasonal-oriented tripe I found the most amazing collection of very on trend items that would be foolish to step away from! I first found this utility maxi skirt in olive green & tan with round side pockets and drawstring waist--super minimal and structured yet the type of thing you can say "oh I just threw this baby on with a gray button down knit, no biggie". The second treasure I found was a turtle neck cream rib knit that would look great tucked under my utility maxi skirt and cinched with a brown belt--its a blend of bamboo, modal and pima cotton. The third beauty was an off white angora t-shirt with slanted sleeves, adds a soft focus if paired with my leather high-waisted shorts. And finally, at last minute I found these perfect brown roper tied boots by Enzo Angiolini (who knows leather goods better than italians, am i rightttt?). All for 20 bucks flat. no joke.
The skirt is from the Laundry line by Shelli Segal, the rib knit turtleneck is Oscar de la Renta & the angora t-shirt is Condor. totally random, i know. pics will be posted later, for now...wrap your minds around this shiiiiiiiiiz....lol. i sooo want this as a throw pillow coverrrrr <3
