Peter Som FALL RTW 2010-
Som's collection for Fall was literally a kaleidoscope of colors, purposefully mismatched mélange of florals and checks. To add sparkle to the wave of patterns--Swarovski beading on tweeds, dyed furs as shoulder pieces and marled knits. Som was noted to be inspired by Ang Lee's film Taking Woodstock (yeaaaah, you remember Demetri Martin totally macking on several dudes...oh yeaaaah) and you can totally see that with the 70's stylized silhouettes. And as if i wasn't already head over heels for Peter Som-- metallic pile-cut frocks,velvet edged motifs on jacquard cardigans & tie up granny boots. talk about luuuuust.
