In commemoration of the vintage Oscar angora top i bought weeks ago (which i haven't even worn yet, sure pairing it with my Segal long length military skirt is easy but I want more than one outfit idea out of this baby), I'm taking two large leaps into Oscar de la Renta PRE-FALL 2011.. its ok to be giddy, I am too.
Now don't tell me you don't love Oscar, everyone loves Oscar...it's not just for the ritzy uptown gals, sexy city gals that want a polished look also reach for Oscar--and in the collection there is quite a variety for all of Oscar's fans. Of course the classic looks we know and come to love as staples such as
tweedy skirtsuits, palazzo pants, and little black dresses trailed the runway. What was unexpected and very progressive was the super-fitted, long-sleeved dress in blown-up tweed. What the collection was all about was the burnt out silk faille pencil skirts, chinchilla-trim broadtail vests, leather leggings, immaculate embroidered coats, feathered hoods & heels, metallic embedded toreador jackets, peasant sleeved cardigans, print on print, matching gloves with scarves, bow belts, leather a-lines & a palette for those in 1969 envy.
my fave one<3 gloves+floral frock=claaaaaassy.
waaaay fairy tale right??
