modern urban camouflage

While i've been in the process of creating looks from spring collections (almost maxi chiffon skirts & anything with over-sized leather utility pockets), pre-fall has been awaiting my review rather impatiently... What better designer than my of the moment obsession, Phoebe Philo's own CELINE Pre-Fall 2011. From raw Japanese denim patches to full on fur sleeveless tops--this takes her usual minimalism on the edge and nearly drives off of it. There's intense rich bold color blocking on satin trousers & button downs, more leather paneling of course, extended sleeves on coats, peplum knee length skirts, single tiered brassiere attachments to tops, turtleneck shifts, a serious color palette of white, black & maroon, and even foxtails (although i thought we were done with that trend...) trompe l'oeil = statement dress.hands down.
